Speratus Kamala

Speratus Kamala is the founder and managing director of Olympus Adventure, a Tanzanian safari company based in Arusha. Born and raised on the edge of the Serengeti, he has spent his life inside the ecosystems most travelers dream of visiting — from the Ngorongoro Crater to the endless plains of the Serengeti, Tarangire's baobab country and the wild Southern Circuit of Ruaha and Nyerere.

With over 15 years of field experience as a certified safari guide and tour operator, Speratus has personally designed and led hundreds of itineraries for families, honeymooners, photographers and first-time visitors from every continent. He is a passionate advocate for community-based tourism and conservation, working closely with Maasai communities and Tanzania's national park authorities.

Every article Speratus publishes is written from first-hand field knowledge — the routes, camps, wildlife behavior and seasonal timing are drawn from thousands of days spent in the parks with real travelers.
